5 tips to look after yourself during exams

Exam time can be a challenging period to get through without some extra care. From tight deadlines to heavy workloads, it's important to still make time for yourself and practice healthy habits to help you stay in good spirits and get the work done.

Here are one of our student's top five tips to look after yourself during exam time...

  1. Eat well – this means having a balanced diet to fuel your body and brain through all that revision and keep your energy levels up. 
  2. Stay hydrated – swap those extra caffeine breaks for more water to reduce the risk of crashing energy levels and help improve your concentration. 
  3. Get enough sleep – you should aim to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night to help boost your mood and focus, read our tips for how to get a better sleep

  5. Celebrate your wins (no matter how little) – make little treats a regular reward for meeting small milestones for more motivation.
