We offer a comprehensive range of support services to help you with everything from academic challenges to personal wellbeing. Here’s a list of the key support services available, along with the relevant links and contact details.

Student Hub

The Student Hub is your main point of contact for support at Southampton and for any questions you may have. Whether you need help with wellbeing, disability, fees, finance, accommodation, or course administration, we're here to help you. You can get in touch 08:00-20:00, Monday to Friday, via email, online chat, or by calling 02380 599 599. You can also visit us in person - check the website for opening times. Wellbeing support is available 24/7 online or in person in B37 on Highfield Campus.

Student Financial Support

If you’re struggling financially, the University can provide guidance on UK government funding, budgeting advice, and information about support funds for all students.

International Student Support

The International Office offers tailored support for international students, including visa advice, orientation programmes, and help with adjusting to life in the UK.

Careers and Employability Service

This service provides support with finding internships, part-time jobs, and graduate roles. They also offer help with CV writing, interview preparation, and career planning.

Peer Support

The university offers peer-led support networks where students can connect with each other for advice and encouragement. This can be particularly helpful for first-year students adjusting to university life.

Faith and Reflection Centre

The Faith and Reflection Centre offers support for students of all faiths and beliefs, providing a space for prayer, meditation, and reflection, as well as pastoral care.

Health Services

It's important to look after your health while at University. You can find a range of advice and guidance from the Student Wellbeing team on Sharepoint, including details of how to register with a GP.

The University Health Service provides medical care for students living near Highfield Campus, including GP services, vaccinations, and sexual health services.

Student Union Advice Centre 

The Student Union Advice Centre provides free, independent and confidential advice on a rage of practical matters, including, academic support, financial support and housing support. Working Monday- Friday 9am-5pm, they can be contacted:
