Eating on campus doesn’t have to take a big bite out of your budget. Campus Kitchen has a range of student discounts, meal deals and lower-cost food options available across University cafés and catering outlets.

Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before lectures, looking for a quick lunch or fancy something hot, here are some of the offers to look out for.

Save on hot food

Students can get 10% off all hot food, while students with a pre-paid Catered Package can get 20% off hot food.

If you regularly eat on campus, those savings can soon add up.

Quick bites from £1.50

Looking for something inexpensive between lectures?

• £1.50 sausage roll – available from all Campus Kitchen cafés
• £3 sausage roll and regular hot drink – available from the Interchange Kiosk
• £4.50 sausage roll, chips and beans – available at NOC and Avenue

£2 sandwiches later in the day

On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, selected sandwiches are available for just £2, subject to availability.

Lunch and meal deals

There are several options if you’re looking for a filling lunch without spending too much.

£4.25 Sicilian-style pasta
Tomato and vegetable penne with Grana Padano, rocket and rosemary focaccia. Available from Piazza.

£4.65 meal deal
Choose a sandwich, wrap or pasta pot from the Simply Lunch range, with a Nairn's gluten-free biscuit and either bottled water or a hot drink.

Gluten-free, halal and vegan options are available, and the deal is stocked across Campus Kitchen cafés.

£4.95 fresh soup and crusty bread
Available from Terrace, Avenue, NOC, WSA and B175 Café.

£5.50 filled croissant and hot drink
Enjoy a freshly filled croissant with any regular hot drink. Available from Arlott, Lounge and Avenue.

£7.50 Simply Lunch MADE meal deal
Choose anything from the Simply Lunch MADE range with either bottled water or a hot drink.

Gluten-free and vegan options are available, and the deal is stocked across Campus Kitchen cafés.

Save food from going to waste for £3.50

You can also pick up a Too Good To Go mystery bag for £3.50, containing food with an original value of £10.

Download the Too Good To Go app to see when bags are available and reserve one. Once you’ve paid through the app, show your purchase to a member of staff when you collect your bag.
