We'd love your feedback on your first few weeks in halls!

We're keen to hear about your experience of living in University halls accommodation so far — what's gone well, and where we can do better.

That's why we're inviting you to complete the Student Accommodation Satisfaction Survey. Your honest feedback helps us improve the experience for you and future students.

As a thank you, you'll be entered into a weekly prize draw to win a £75 voucher.

At the end of the survey, you'll be redirected to a separate page to enter your contact details. This keeps your responses completely anonymous — so please be open and candid.

The survey is open between Monday 28 September and Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Here are just a few things we’ve introduced in previous years based on student feedback:

• 📘 Redesigned halls guides, co-created with students, to ensure the information is relevant and helps you feel at home in halls and in the city.
• 🌍 Working groups focused on improving satisfaction for underrepresented groups in our community.
• 🏡 Residences Life Ambassadors now run events in every hall, helping you meet people and build a sense of community.
• New laundry offer, leaving unreliable app based system for laundry included as part of halls contract.
• 🎓 A new Postgraduate Lounge has opened at City Gateway to support the postgraduate community and wellbeing.
• 🛋️ Newly-designed common room at Erasmus Park to enhance social spaces.
• 🌳 More outdoor furniture has been introduced to make shared outdoor areas more usable and welcoming.
• 🔄 We’ve repurposed under-used spaces to better meet student needs, opening Relaxation Rooms at Wessex Lane and City Gateway.
• 📲 We’re reviewing how we communicate through platforms like Planon, to make it easier for you to access support and services.
• 🎉 We’ve introduced End of Year celebrations to say farewell and thank you to our residents, marking the end of the academic year together.
