Ingredients

For the chicken

  • 4 chicken thighs or chicken breast fillets
  • 100g plain flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Korean sauce

To serve

  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced cucumber

Method

STEP 1
Combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl. Dip the chicken into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in the seasoned flour mixture.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken until golden, crispy and cooked through. Transfer to kitchen paper to drain.

STEP 4
Coat the cooked chicken in the warm Korean sauce, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
