Wessex Lane Network Refresh Works

Schedule of wifi upgrade works at Wessex Lane

As part of the Network refresh project our contractor, Sceptrenet, will be installing new network switches and individual room wifi access points to improve performance.

· Network switches will be installed in buildings at Wessex Lane, in line with the network refresh schedule found below. Once installed there will then be a brief Wifi outage, lasting around 15 minutes to 1 hour on the scheduled day for each block, while the new switch is put live. If you require internet access during this time you can make use of the Boiler House common room to ensure continued access.

· Network/Wifi access points (Ap’s) will be installed in each room at Wessex Lane. In order to do this room access will be required. These works/room access will be carried out between 10 October and 24 December 2026

* Montefiore A and B will be done in sections, with one outage per section. There will not be multiple outages for residents in these blocks.
