5-ingredient lava cake

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 140g Nutella
  • 35g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 40g chocolate chips
  • Butter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180ºC.
  2. Add the Nutella and egg to a small bowl and mix. Then add in the flour and milk, mixing again.
  3. Pour your mixture into a small oven dish or two dessert ramekins (both buttered around the sides and on the bottom). Add 1 tbsp of Nutella in the centre, or if you're using ramekins add 1-2 tsp into the centre of each one. Then cover the scoop of Nutella over again with more of the mix.
  4. Top with chocolate chips and bake in the oven for around 10-15 minutes for one larger pudding, or 8-10 minutes for small ramekins (just make sure to keep an eye on them as you don't want them to burn).
  5. Serve with ice cream and enjoy!

No-bake Nutella bars

Ingredients (Serves 6-10, depending on how big you like your slices)

  • 90g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 250g icing sugar
  • 120g melted butter
  • 300g Nutella
  • 200g white chocolate

Method

  1. Add your crushed digestives, icing sugar and melted butter to a bowl. Mix these together with a wooden spoon.
  2. Add 250g Nutella to the mixture and mix again until fully combined.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a baking tray lined with parchment paper, pressing down with the back of the spoon firmly to create an even spread.
  4. Melt your white chocolate in the microwave (melting in 20-30 second bursts and stirring afterwards, so it doesn't burn), then pour on top of the base, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Melt the remaining 50g of Nutella in the microwave and drizzle it over the top, then

Nutella pastry knots

Ingredients (serves 16)

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed out
  • Nutella spread
  • 1 egg, whisked

Method

  1. Lay one piece of pastry flat on a piece of baking paper. Spread Nutella across the sheet in an even coat (to make it easier to spread, you can melt the Nutella in the microwave for 30 seconds).
  2. Lay the second piece of pastry on top, so all of the edges line up perfectly.
  3. Using a pizza cutter, slice the pastry into 14-16 thin strips. Take each strip and twist from both ends, then roll the twisted pastry strip into a knot/circle.
  4. Repeat with all pastry strips and place them evenly on a lined baking tray. Brush with egg wash and bake for around 10-12 minutes in an 180ºC oven, or until golden brown.
  5. Take out and let cool completely before drizzling with melted Nutella, or if you're too impatient simply dunk them straight into the Nutella!
