Are you passionate about student wellbeing, physical activity, and helping others feel more energised during the academic day? The University is recruiting Bitesize Movement Facilitators to deliver short, engaging movement sessions that support student health and wellbeing within teaching and study spaces.
This paid student role is ideal for confident communicators who enjoy leading small groups and want to make a positive impact on campus life. Facilitators deliver inclusive movement breaks lasting up to 10 minutes, helping students build simple, sustainable habits that fit easily into their academic routine.
You'll receive full training, so prior experience in coaching or fitness is not essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm, approachability, and ability to motivate others. Sessions are designed to be accessible to all abilities and delivered in a wide range of academic settings.
What's on offer
- Pay rate: From £12.60 (dependent on age)
- Hours: 8 hours total paid work
- Training: A compulsory hybrid training session during the week commencing 11 June
- Eligibility: Open to University of Southampton or Southampton Solent University students who will be enrolled during both the 2025/26 and 2026/27 academic years, with availability in semester 1 of 2026/27
Key responsibilities
