Get ready for your arrival at your new home in halls

If you’re moving into halls at the University of Southampton this September, then your arrival date is fast approaching.  

Familiarise yourself with how to collect your keys and where to park at your halls site before your arrival date.

Your halls site

• Erasmus Park
• Glen Eyre
• Highfield Hall
• Wessex Lane

Allocated time  

You will have already booked your arrival slot after completing your induction (unless booked on meet and greet or you have been invited to arrive early due to individual circumstances). Please keep to your time slot as far as possible to ensure the next person can unload their belongings.  

Ensure you account for potential traffic delays and the high volume of students moving in.  

When you arrive  

Follow the signs to guide you in the right direction. Our staff (in blue t-shirts) and student ambassadors (in yellow t-shirts) will also be available to help answer any questions.  

Parking  

You will be provided with a parking permit on arrival which we ask you display in your vehicle until you leave. Due to large numbers on the day, you are restricted to use one vehicle.
