Library opening hours & alternative study space in Southampton
In order to support you through your studies, we wanted to remind you that Hartley Library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time.
Don’t forget in Southampton we have site libraries at the National Oceanographic Library and the Health Services Library at the Hospital as well as study space in the Sir James Matthews Building and Building 100.

Building 100
Building 100 will be extending its opening hours during the weekends throughout the Winter Exam period between 12:00-19:30. This should help to provide more study spaces for you on the Highfield Campus. Building 100 will be open on the following dates:
· Saturday 11 January
· Sunday 12 January
· Saturday 18 January
· Sunday 19 January
Laptop loans service
Did you know that you can borrow a laptop from a number of different locations?
- Hartley Library: Level 2 and Level 4
- Health Services Library (Southampton General Hospital)
- Avenue Campus
- National Oceanographic Library
- Sir James Matthews Building
