We recently asked the Residence Life Assistants at Highfield Hall to let us know a bit about themselves and the events they have on offer at Highfield Hall.

Hi I’m Maia, I’m a third year History student. I really enjoyed living in halls my first year and I‘m excited to meet everyone. I’m part of SwiftSoc and I love the outdoors! Over the summer I worked at Camp America as a lead Camp Counsellor, and I’ve recently gotten into bouldering!

Hello! I’m Ella and I’m a second year History student. I’m also on the committee for HKS (Hookers, Knitters and Stitchers) as the Events and Fundraising Officer. I really liked going to the Residence Life Activities in my Halls in first year, so I’m excited to be running them this year! I also really enjoyed going to Veg Soc and Art Soc in the first year.

We mainly run Arts and Craft events where we decorate things, but we also run other types of events like movie nights, Mario Kart tournaments, and bingo nights. We try to match our events to the time of the year, but we are also open to any event suggestions!

Events at Highfield Hall run every Tuesday between 7-9pm. If you fancy a chat with your RLAs, please come along then or on a Thursday between 6-8pm, where we will be in the common room to answer your questions!
