What does it mean

Everybody living in halls benefits from having the comprehensive contents insurance cover that we provide via Cover4Students. 

Please take the time to look over your policy and make note of what is and isn’t included in your cover. Details on this can be found in the documents below.

If you discover that one of your possessions is not covered by this policy, you can add it to your insurance package via the Cover4Students website for an additional cost.

You can also improve your security whilst in halls by doing the following:

• Always lock your door and windows when leaving your room
• Have any valuable possessions marked by the police (UV/Smartwater or similar)
• Be aware of any of your flatmates’ guests
• Do not wedge or block doors open allowing entry to those without keys
• Do not give out door codes to your block or building to others
