Bringing Students Together At Wessex Lane

From petting zoos to free coffee vans, there's always something happening to help students connect, relax and make the most of life in halls. ☕🦙🐐

Life in halls is about more than just where you live. It's about making connections, creating memories and experiencing something new.

At Wessex Lane, students were delighted by a visit from a travelling petting zoo. Residents enjoyed spending time with a variety of friendly animals, taking photos and catching up with friends while enjoying a break from their studies. The event proved incredibly popular and brought plenty of smiles to students throughout the afternoon. (see more images below)

Similar animal visits are planned for other residences in the coming weeks, giving even more students the opportunity to enjoy these unique experiences.

Students also enjoyed a visit from a complimentary coffee van, offering a selection of hot drinks and a chance to connect with fellow residents. The event created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, giving students an opportunity to take a break, chat with friends and enjoy a warming drink.

These events are just a few of the activities available throughout the year in our halls. From social events and wellbeing activities to workshops, sports and seasonal celebrations, there's always something happening to help students meet new people, try something new and make the most of their university experience.
