Keep up to date and get connected

Accessing Wi-Fi in halls is easy.

If you are visiting from another University, we encourage you to connect via Eduroam, the University’s free Wi-Fi service.

If not, then you will need to connect via ‘WiFi Guest’ and sign in through the Cloud.

To connect to the Cloud Wi-Fi, follow these steps:

1. Enable Wi-Fi: Switch on your device and ensure Wi-Fi is enabled.
2. Select network: Choose '_The Cloud' from the available network list.
3. Log in or sign up: If prompted, log in with your Sky username and password, or sign up for a free account.
4. Automatic connection: Once registered, your device will connect automatically to The Cloud Wi-Fi in future.
