Lauren 

Hello, I’m Lauren, and I am a second year Psychology student! I am one of your Resident Life Assistants here at Glen Eyre. As an RLA, we plan many fun events to run for Halls. My hobbies are art and crafts and painting. I am also a member of SUGC (gliding society) and SURC (horse riding society). A fun fact about me is that I have 14-year-old cat called Plum.

Eloise

Hi, I’m Eloise and I’m a second-year Biomedical sciences student and one of your Glen Eyre RLAs. My interests include anything science related, reading and music. I am part of SUWRFC, the women’s rugby team at the university and I have been playing since I started here in first year. A fun fact about me is that I now have metal plates in my ankle- like a cyborg!

Eden

Hi! I’m Eden, a second year Psychology student and one of your Glen Eyre RLAs. I am a member of the yoga society and to love to take up new sewing projects in my spare time. Fun fact about me: I broke my arm in Year 3 by jumping off a chest of drawers :)

Tom

Hiya, I’m Tom! I’m a second-year Marketing student and one of your Glen Eyre RLAs. When I’m not overseeing one of the many exciting events we organise in Glen Eyre common room, I can be found out on the water or working on creative projects. A fun fact about me is that I’m double-jointed. 

Our events

During our time as Glen Eyre RLAs, we have been busy running many different events. We aim to run a wide range of activities so that everyone in Glen feels welcome to attend. We would also love to hear new ideas from you all and we will try our best to include them. Some of the events we have already run include Mario Kart and Pizza, Halloween Movie Night, Paint & Sip, Board Games & Doughnuts and even a Pub Quiz! Our upcoming events will be festive themed to get into the winter spirit, so make sure to check the MySouthampton app for more details.
