What to do in an emergency
Fire information, such as your nearest evacuation point, can be found on the ‘Essential Information’ signage which is located on the back of your bedroom door and by the fire exits.
The evacuation point is located on the grassy area between A and D block. Other evacuation points are highlighted around Glen Eyre by a large green sign.
Fire alarm testing is conducted on a Friday at Chamberlain Hall. The alarm will briefly sound, and you will not need to do anything. If the alarm sounds for longer than five seconds, please evacuate the building following the guidance on the Essential Information signage in your room.
