There are many essential free services available right here on campus! These services are there to support your wellbeing and finances, so take advantage of them when you can:
Microwaves
Microwaves are available for student use on campus, including specific social spaces and study areas within the Student Union (SUSU) and in catered halls.
Key Locations
- SUSU Building 42: Dedicated spaces like the "Veg Out" area provide a microwave.
- Campus Kitchen: Self-service options are available, and the 'Fountain Canteen' also offer a microwave station.
- Boldrewood: Building 176, Level 2
Water
Free water points and fountains are available across campus for refilling your water bottles – find a drinking water point near you.
You can also ask for tap water at the SUSU or any catering outlet (also for free!).
Period Products
Free period products, provided by SUSU, are available on campus. They're currently located in toilets within buildings 40 and 42.
