Are you a student who will be continuing your studies next academic year 2025/26? Are you looking for a job which really makes you feel part of the Southampton University Community? Then apply to be a Residence Life Assistant (RLA) today!

What is an RLA?

Our RLAs will be experienced and confident students who will work on a weekly basis to facilitate events or campaigns in University Halls of Residences or our Nominated Private Halls.

This role involves:

Idea generation and planning of weekly events
Delivering events without any direct supervision in common spaces in halls
Supporting students in Halls from a peer-to-peer perspective
Working with Residences and the Student Engagement Team on larger scale Halls events
