Take and Donate container

The Take and Donate charity container can be found at Wessex Lane between the Boiler House common room and Wessex Lane laundry. Open during term time from 8:00-18:00. This offers a simple and meaningful way to give back to fellow students and give new life to your unwanted belongings. You can donate pre-loved items that are still in good conditon and/or take items that you need.

Donations

You can drop off unwanted clothes, kitchen crockery/utensils, stationary, and house hold items that may be of use to fellow students to the Take and Donate container. Any items donated need to be in good condition and clean when you dropped off at the donation point.

If you require items

Students are invited to take a look what’s inside and can take any items that you would like to give a second home to. Think of it as your on site swap shop. Whether you need cutlery, pots or pans, stationary or other household items come and take a look at the Take and Donate container and the items you need may be there, ready and waiting for you to take for free to a new home.

Giving items a new home, getting further life out of useable items and with no additional cost everybody wins!
