Applications for halls accommodation at the University of Southampton are currently open for the current academic year.
If you are a current UoS halls resident and applying to return to halls for 2026/27, the returners application window will be open between 2-13 March 2026.
Applications for new students for the 2026/27 academic year will open on 14 April. If you are a new student, meet our criteria, and submit your application by 23:59 on Wednesday 1 July, you will be guaranteed an offer of accommodation in a single-occupancy room for 2026/27.
To submit your request for halls in 2026/27, visit the Accommodation Portal during the application window.
